BANK DEPOSITS LOWER DROP IN DAIRY ADVANCES (By Telerraph.— Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday The Reserve Bank return for the week ended Monday, September 2, was gazetted to-night. The statement is balanced at £43,739,124 or £1,108,939 less than at the close of the previous week. Sterling exchange at £11,183,295 is £1,033,313 lower in value than on the preceding Monday. Of the demand liabilities, deposits of the trading banks are £1,096,249 lower, and notes have fallen by £61,056 from the record level of the previous week. The ratio is 33.713 per cent, compared with 33.391 per cent the week before. Advances to the Primary Products Marketing Department are £199,908 lower, while those for other purposes have increased by £IOO,OOO.
