The Pokuru Golf Club played a round Tor the championship cup last Saturdav, with the following results:—R. Harris beat A. McLeay, O. Law beat G. LangdaJe, Corboy beat S. Walker beat Gudsell, West beat Gormley, A. Murray a bye. The draw for the. second round, which will be played in conjunction with the Captain’s Trophy competition, is as follows: Walker v. Corboy, A. Murray v. Law, West v. r. Harris, H. Empson v. A. McLeay, s. Langdale v. Mason, Thomas v. Candy, Turner v. Karl, Boswell v. Smart, B. Murray v. g. Langdale, J. Empson v. H. BuddPn, C. Budden v. Darker, Gudsell v. Gormley. Tiie women played for the Lister Cup and Mrs Langdale was the winner, with an aggregate score of 21*3. Mrs Murray was runner-up with 22 3.
