RACING AT PAEROA
OHINEMURI JOCKEY CLUB FINE PROGRAMME ARRANGED ENTRIES C'LOSE TOMORROW Nominations for all events of the Oblnemurl Jockey Club's spring meeting at Paeroa on Saturday and Monday, September 28 and 30, are due tomorrow (Friday) at 5 p.m. with Messrs Blomfield and Company, Auckland, and an 0 p.m. with the secretary (Mr J. J. Poland), P.O. Box 62, Paeroa.
A comprehensive programme has been arranged lor the attention or owners, the Poland Cup on the first day carrying prize money of £350, and the open sprint, the Flying Handicap, £2OO. The Maramaru.i Steeplechase (about 2} miles) ds catered Tor to the extent of £l6O, and the Kopuaralii Hurdles (lj miles), £l-50. On the latter day the P residents Handicap (0 furlongs) is worth £2-5 0 and the sprint £2OO, while the .jumping events, the Taumarunui Steeplechase (about 3 -miles) and the Tiirua Handicap Hurdles (12 miles) carry prize money or £175 and £l5O respectively.
