GENEROUS DONATIONS HAMILTON FIGHTER FUND,, ONLY TWO MORE DAYS Swelled considerably by several large donations since yesterday, the fund opened by the Mayor of Hamilton, Mr H. D. Caro, toward the provision of fighter aeroplanes for Great Britain has cleared the £2OOO mark, and it appears that £3OOO will be in sight before the fund is brought to a close on Saturday. Yesterday the receipts stood at £lßl7, and since then £541 has come to hand. Of this amount £250 was from the Hamilton Borough Council and £IOO from Ellis and Burnand, Limited. Only two days remain for the fund, and persons wishing to subscribe are urged to do Ao as soon as possible. Donations are being received by the town clerk and at the Waikato Times Office.
