New Zealand Apples
A much brighter result than was at one time anticipated has marked the New Zealand apple selling season in Britain, now drawing to a close, writes a London correspondent under date August 15. While prices were not high when the first shipments arrived, and they are also modest now that the last are in sight, they touched record figures for a period. The average for the season should show a satisfactory return to the New Zealand Government.
