Messrs J. N. Park (Gisborne), J. P. M. McGaughy (Ngatamarire) and W. Buckland (Auckland) are at the Hamilton Hotel.
Mr H. G. Thorpe was appointed the Hamilton Borough Council representative on the Frankton Library Committee at a meeting of the council last night.
Mr D. I. Gate, of Hamilton, who has completed a course of training at the Narrow Neck Army School, has been promoted to the rank of sergeant and posted to the temporary staff, Hamilton.
Major-General R. Young, C. 8., C.M.G., D. 5.0., Dominion Commander of the Home Guard, who visited Hamilton yesterday, returned to Wellington last night by the limited express.
