RED CROSS AFTERNOON
The Taupiri sub-branch of the Red Cross Society held an enjoyable and successful card afternoon recently in the Red Cross rooms, which were artistically decorated with spring flowers. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mrs J. C. Black and Mrs W. McPherson.
Those present were:—Mesdames D. Welch, W. Waring, R. Tremlett, J. D. Bruce, R. Burke, O. Brooks, A. Garry, F. Wilson, J. C. Black, E. Williamson, W. McPherson, R. Fransham, Miss George.
