NATIONAL CLUB
WOMEN S AUXILIARY MEETING At the annual general meeting of the Women’s Auxiliary of the National Club held on Tuesday, over which Mr A. Gordon, president of the club, presided, it was stated that members resigning for overseas service with the forces automatically became honorary members of the club, which was to be used by their wives for the duration of the war, free of charge. The form future activities would take, and the progress already made in the various circles were discussed, and the following committee conveners were elected:—President, Mrs K. Duxfield; committee, Mrs H. Finlayson, Mrs N. Pattie, Mrs L. Blackmore and Mrs McGrail; conveners, sewing, Mrs W. A. Schultz; Red Cross, Mrs A. A. McLean; cards, Mrs J. Beaton; cultural, Mrs P. Newlands; gardening, Mrs B. Haverbier.
