Plunket Society Appeal With a view to raising funds to carry out the work of caring for mothers and babies, the Hamilton branch and Frankton sub-branch of the Plunket Society will conduct a flower and produce stall in front of the Hamilton Public Library on Friday. The monthly commitments of the society in Hamilton total £45. It is hoped that the users of the organisation will lend their support in the appeal, which has grown in importance on account of the fact that with many soldiers away the care of their children has devolved on the society. On Friday morning ex-pupils of the Waikato Diocesan School for Girls will sell buttonholes in the street as part of the appeal. Comforts For Soldiers
