Several tires burnt for an hour after the raid. ACE LIMIT RAISED ROYAL AIR FORCE LONDON, Sept. 2 The Daily Telegraph says the age limit of Royal Air Force pilots is to be raised from 28 to 31 years. This does not mean that there is a shortage, but it is intended to open flying to men registered but not called up. BIG HORSE FAIR OPENS PRICES AT CAMBRIDGE The week’s annual Spring Horse Fair opened at Cambridge today, attracting about 850 entries, including a special line of pedigree Clydesdales on account of Mr J. McMurray, Gore. There was also a large line from Hawera. There were ready bids for better sorts of unbrokens, but there was a marked tendency to disregard more doubtful horses.
