PILOT’S FATE
KILLED IN OPERATIONS (By Telegraph.—Priess Association) WELLINGTON, Tuesday Mr and Mrs J. O. Priestley, 184 Glenmore Street, Kelbum, have received cable advice that their elder son, Pilot-Officer John Sinclair Priestley, lost his life as a result of air operations on August 30. PilotOfficer Priestley, who was 26, received his training with the Royal New Zealand Air Force and arrived in England only three months ago. As a lad he was a keen -Scout and achieved the honour of becoming a King’s Scout.
