Messrs C. L. Grubb, N. Segor and L. A. Olsen (Auckland) are at the Hamilton Hotel.

Mr G. E. Wilkes has been elected president of the Hamilton Bowling Club in place of Mr W. S. Dingle, who has been called up for military service.

Mr C. A. Barrell, M.P., a member of the Auckland Harbour Board, left Hamilton to-day for Auckland to attend a Harbour Board meeting. He will travel to Wellington by the limited express to-night.

Mr J. E. Marnane, manager of the Bank of New South Wales, has returned to Hamilton from holidaying at Russell and Mount Maunganui. Mr D. B. Haworth, of the audit staff, who was relieving during his absence, left for the south yesterday afternoon.
