SEVERE HEAD INJURIES

COLLISION WITH CAR

MAEROA YOUTH HURT COLLISION WITH LORRY Severe head injuries were received by Claude Nicholson, aged 15, dental mechanic, of Maeroa, when tile cycle he was riding toward Hamilton from Te Rapa last evening came into collision with a lorry. The youth was admitted to the Waikato Hospital, where his condition this afternoon was serious.

MAN DANGEROUSLY ILL A fractured leg and other injuries were received by Mr Harold Davidson, aged 53, of Norton Road, Frankton, when he was struck by a motorcar rn Seddon Road on Saturday evening. After proceeding some distance along Seddon Road, the car stopped and the driver walked back. It is stated that he told the injured man that he would communicate with a doctor and secure an ambulance. As far as is known he did neither. This morning Mr Davidson was dangerously ill in the Waikato Hospital.
