USE OF TROTTING COURSE (By TelegrapH.—special to Timeg) CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday Emergency equipment and furnishings sufficient to open a 200-bed emergency hospital at the Addington trotting course are to be purchased by the North Canterbury Hospital Board. This action is to be taken in response to a request from the Director-General of Health, Dr M. H. Watt. The board was informed that it would be necessary to arrange with the Trotting Club to install drainage and water connections so that the kiosk could be used at short notice.
