TWELVE SHOT DOWN IN HOUR (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, August 31 The “Ace Canadian” squadron put , in a useful hour’s work on Friday afternoon. In a single patrol they destroyed eignt Messerscnmitt 110 and three Heinkel 111 bombers, as well as finishing off a fourth Heinkel which had already been attacked and damaged by another squadron. They suffered no casualties and their Hurricane fighters were not damaged.
