HONEY SEASON
TOTAL OUTPUT SOLD BRITISH REQUIREMENTS That the new season for honey was opening on a bare market was disclosed at a meeting of the South Auckland branch of the National Beekeepers’ Association. The reason, it was stated, was that the whole of last season’s output had been disposed of, largely because of the requirements of the Imperial Governmen;. The newly-appointed apiary instructor at Hamilton, Mr C. R. Paterson, was welcomed to the district. It was announced that 10 part-time inspectors had been appointed to assist Mr Paterson in keeping a check on foul-brood and other apiary diseases*
