DEMANDS WITHDRAWN
WORKERS AT WAIOTJRU CAMP (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday As the result of a meeting, the workers at Waiouru military camp have agreed to continue at existing rates of pay. It is stated that the great majority of the men earn about £8 10s for a 57-hour week and have their board provided. A large section of the men was not in favour of increased demand*.
