OBITUARY
MRS LYDIA HODGKINSON The death occurred at the Waikato Hospital today of Mrs Lydia Hodgkinson, aged 68 years, of Hamilton. Born in Queensland, Mrs Hodgkinson came to New Zealand about 40 years ago with her husband, Mr Edmund Hodgkinson, and they settled in Greymouth, where Mr Hodgkinson was engaged in the joinery trade. About 36 years ago they came to Frankton, where Mr Hodgkinson opened a joinery business. Mrs Hodgkinson was a member of the Whitiora Croquet Club for over 25 years and was also a member of the Hamilton branch of the League of Mothers. Mrs Hodgkinson’s husband predeceased her four years ago and she is survived by two sons, Messrs H. Hodgkinson and A. Hodgkinson, of Hamilton, and two daughters, Mesdames B. Gainfort (Tauranga) and J. Winter (Sydney). There are 15 grandchildren.
