LONG MARCH ENDS OVER THE BLUE MOUNTAINS (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyrignt) (Received August 30, 3.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 30 The Australian Imperial Force’s march over the Blue Mountains ended yesterday with the arrival of the last brigade at the Bathurst camp. The Minister of the Army'. Senator Mcßride, said troops will be transferred temporarily from the Sydney Showground next year, to enable the Royal Show to be held. MELBOURNE. August 30 Major-General V. A. H. Sturdee has been appointed Chief of the Australian General Staff in succession to the late Sir Brudenell White. The Prime Minister, Mr Menzies, will announce the terms of the appointment to-day.
