BOMBING OF STEAMER GERMANY EXPRESSES REGRET (United Press As.-^n.—Elec. Te!. Copyright) (Received August 30, 3.15 p.m.) DUBLIN, August 29 It is officially stated that Germany has apologised for the bombing of the steamer Kerry Head. On August 2 the Eirean Government announced that a German bomber attacked and damaged the steamer Kerry Head near the entrance to Oyster Haven. There were no casualties.
