Fruit Board Retained

The present constitution of the Fruit Export Control Board is to be retained for the duration of the war and the present producers’ representatives will continue in office without re-election or re-appoint-ment. Normally, two producers representatives would retire in rotation this month. The decision to retain the status quo of the board, although the State is now the sole exporter, has been made in cooperation with the industry, and the necessary provision is contained in the Fruit Export Control Board Emergency Regulations issued with the Gazette.
