ITALIAN PILOT’S CLAIM (United Press Asm. —E.ec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Aug. 29, 11 a.m.) BERLIN, Aug. 28 The radio alleged that an Italian bomber heavily hit a British cruiser fci the Mediterranean. The pilot saw smoke rising from the cruiser, which was heeling over.
