CONFERENCE OPENS
NORTH ISLAND MOTOR UNION (By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Thursday The annual conference of the North Island Motor Union commenced today. Mr J. H. Edmundson presided. Delegates are present from Auckland, Taranaki, South Taranaki, Wanganui, Manawatu, Wairarapa, Wellington and Hawke’s Bay. The south Island Union is represented by Mr P. W. Breen, Dunedm, and Mr P. Harvey, Christchurch. Domestic business was discussed today at the conference which continues tomorrow.
