LONELY CHILDREN
Facing the ordeal of motherhood alone, without medical attention or even a friend, her husband in Palestine with the A.1.F., Mrs Marjorie Thornton, of Sydney, died. Neighbours, arriving too late, found the young girl dead, but her twin sons, Peter and Paul, were alive. Taken to the Royal Hospital for Women, they are thriving in the hands of capable nurses who will pull them through the first difficult weeks of life. Later they may be sent to relatives in Perth.
