CLUBMEN CAPTURE THIEF (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) TAIHAPE, Thursday When a thief broke into a locker in the Taihape Men’s Club and stole a quantity of cigarettes he was pursued through the streets of Taihape by six members of the club, who eventually captured him. In the Taihape Police Court today Patrick William Crampton, a carpenter, of Waiouru, pleaded guilty to the theft of cigarettes. He was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment.
