EIGHT PERSONS DEAD JAPANESE VESSEL SUNK (United Press Assn.— Elec. Tel. Copyright) MANILA, August 21 Eight persons are reported to be dead in North Luzon as a result of Monday’s typhoon. The Japanese vessel Manyu Maru, with 15 passengers on board, was sunk while proceeding to Formosa. All were saved. Communication is still severed with Cagayan (Luzon), where it is believed the casualties are heavy.
