LATE SIR ABE BAILEY
FORTUNE OF £10,000,000 Sir Abe Bailey, the South African millionaire, whose death was announced recently, had an estimated fortune in 1936 of £10,000,000. The new baronet, his elder son, John Milner Bailey, who was born in 1900, is a director of 20 companies. The Daily Telegraph’s Capetown correspondent says it understands that Sir Abe Bailey instructed his | executors that none of his sharehold- | mg assets should be realised for at | least 10 years in order to avoid a 1 slump.
