MINOR LEGISLATION
HOUSE RESUMES TODAY (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) WELLINGTON, Tuesday Parliament will resume tomorrow after three weeks’ adjournment. Minor legislation for introduction includes the Statutes Amendment Bill, the Finance Bill No. 2, Carriage by Air Bill, Health Amendment Bill, Local Legislation Bill, Housing Amendment Bill, Reserve , and Other Lands Disposal Bill, and j a measure dealing with the adminI istration of the Thames Borough. The Statues Amendment Bill may make its appearance tomorrow, but it is not known yet when the Finance Bill will be ready for presentation. Another bill to be discussed is the Insurance Companies Bill, which when introduced was referred to a committee and upon which evidence has been heard. If members desire the House will go into secret session on Thursday to j discuss New Zealand’s war effort.
