THE FIGHTING IN LIBYA SHORTAGE OF WATER MENACE TO EGYPT (United Press Assn.—mec. Tel. Copyrlgkt) LONDON, August 19 Tire Times states that the water : ration for the Italian troops at Bari dia, in Libya, is two litres a day for all purposes, compared with the British equivalent of four litres for drinking purposes only. I If the enemy crosses the Egyptian j frontier, says the Times, he will find ! very limited supplies of water and then only at a great depth. For 1 about 150 miles he will be compelled I to carry iarge quantities. 1 British airmen in the Middle East are doing valuable work under diffiI culties. When the wind raises desert dust, there is a possibility of dust haze up to 10,000 ft., reducing visibility to practically nothing.
