OBITUARY
MR F. D. ROBERTS The death has occurred at Gordonton Road, Taupiri, of Mr Frederick Dipi’ose Roberts, aged 87 years. Mr Roberts was born in Tasmania, and came to New Zealand some 35 years ago, taking up farming at Taupiri. He was later engaged in farming at Whangarei, where he resided for about 14 years. About 18 months ago he retired and lived with his daughter at Gordonton Road. Mr Roberts married about 60 years ago. He is survived by his wife and seven children, Messrs R. Roberts (Queensland), R. Roberts, C. T. Roberts (Whangarei), Mesdames A. Taylor (Taupiri), R. Whitfitt (Mangavvai), W. J. Woods (Morrinsville) and Miss M. C. Roberts (Rarotonga). There are 15 grandchildren.
