FIGHTER FUND

MAYOR OPENS APPEAL HAMILTON CONTRIBUTIONS OVER £450 SUBSCRIBED The Mayor of Hamilton, Mr H. D. Caro, opened a fund in Hamilton today to raise sufficient money from Hamilton to purchase a fighter aeroplane for Britain. A very satisfactory response has already been made, and by early afternoon £455 had been received. Further donations may be sent to the Town Clerk or the Waikato Times office. The following donations are acknowledged:—
