Copyright) MOSCOW, Aug. 19 The Soviet’s annual air show, demonstrating “ Russia’s safety from aerial invasion,” was opened at Tushino airport in the presence of Soviet political and military leaders, the diplomatic corps and 500,000 spectators. A feature of the display included four high-speed mystery bombers, one of which has a fish-like back. Other outstanding items were formation flying by 200 training aeroplanes at 350 miles an hour, and an “ air train ” consisting of 27 gliders which discharged a swarm of parachutists.
