POPULAR FUNCTION

MATANGI FANCY DRESS BALL Always a popular function, the annual children’s fancy dress ball, organised by the ladies of St. David’s Anglican Church at Matangi, this year proved to be no exception. The function was held in the hall, which was gaily decorated with multi-col-oured streamers and greenery and a great variety of costumes was presented. Clayton’s orchestra supplied excellent music and extras were played by Mrs Forster. Mr A. Webster was master of ceremonies. The children in fancy costume were:— Alisa Bourke.
