R. E. THOMSON BENEFIT
SPLENDID PROGRESS MADE BIG DANCE NEXT WEEK Splendid progress has been made in recent weeks by the committee in charge of the special R. E. Thomson benefit, the generous response received from the subscription lists circulated in various centres reflecting the popularity of a horseman, whose serious injuries at Trentham last month will debar him from riding again. The benefit campaign will close today week (August 27) with a dance and card evening in the Frankton Town Hall.
