GAMING OFFENCES SIX PERSONS IN COURT POLICE RAID PREMISES (By Telegraph.—Press Association)

PALMERSTON N., Monday Five persons, Bruce John Clarke, Harry McDonald Essex, Dario Lanchato Giorgi, James Sheldon Hanly and Ernest James Watson, were each fined £IOO on charges under the Gaming Act in the Magistrate’s Court as the result of visits paid by the police to premises on Saturday. Mrs Giorgi was fined £25.
