“MOLOTOFF COCKTAILS”
ARMS FOR HOME GUARD DEFENCE OF BRITAIN (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyrlg-nt) LONDON, Aug. 18 The home guard is being armed with “ Molotoff cocktails ” by the million. These were used in the Finnish war and have been adopted by the War Office. They are considered more effective I than hand grenades against armoured troops. Their composition cannot be revealed.
