CHILDREN’S BALL
ROTO-O-RANGI SCHOOL Transported for one happy evening into the realm of make-believe, wherein people of all ages and all lands mingled in carefree frivolity, the children of Roto-o-rangi School were present at a fancy dress party held recently at the Roto-o-rangi Soldiers’ Memorial Hall. During the games and dancing, the children took part in old English folk dances; great credit being due to their teachers, Mrs Cooper and Mr Kendon. Mrs Dahlberg played the music for the dancing. Part of the proceeds of the very successful function are to be donated to the Roto-o-rangi Sub-centre of the Red Cross Society.
