FIVE ENLISTMENTS
morrinsville family (Special to Times.) MORRINSVILLE, Saturday A message from Wanganui records the fact that five brothers, sons of Mrs E. M. Langdon, of Bulls, have enlisted for service with the New Zealand Forces. This record has been equalled in Morrinsville, where five sons of Mr and Mrs O. Redshaw, of Lome Street, have enlisted. One son. Private Stanley Redshaw, is in England with the second echelon, two others, Private Norman Redshaw and Sapper Albert Redshaw, are in camp with the third echelon at Papakura and Trentham respectively. Two other sons, Oliver and Walter, have also enlisted but have not yet been called up. Fit For Overseas Service The medical board, which sat in Morrinsville examined 17 volunteers for overseas service. Those passed fit were as follows:—R. Vincent (Matamata), R. J. R. Gray (Matamata), R. H. Toombs (Matamata), H. W. Wendt (Waharoa), L. A. Cockhead (Putaruru), A. L. Corlett (Waihou), P. H. Barhann (Waharoa), L. J. C. Wragg (Waitoa), J. C. Taylor (Matamata).
