FAREWELL PARTY

A delightful farewell party was given by Mr and Mrs W. Robinson at their home in Matangi, recently, for Bombardier O. J. Muir, who leaves shortly for service overseas. The evening was spent in dancing and community singing, music being supplied by Mr C. Burr, of Hamilton. During the evening, Mr Robinson, on behalf of those present, presented the guest-of-honour with a shaving outfit and wished him good luck and a safe return. The guest-of honour suitably replied. Those present were:—Mesdames W. Robinson, L. Windsor. R. Allwood, F. Matuschka, D. J. Carley (Auckland), W. Curie. Misses A. Muir. P. Prince, U. Rothwell, N. Fleming, G. Rothwell, I. Neil, P. Upton, M. Rothwell, J. Crozier.
