Davj ies extricating the team from diffii culties on several occasions, j Mead almost scored for Rovers after a fine solo run but J. Montford : ! saved the situation for Glen Massey. . Taking the initiative again, Glen i Massey increased its lead when, from j a scramble in the goal-mouth, Gor- ! man scored. The second half opened with both ; teams kicking inaccurately with little’ attempt at combination. Glen Massey increased its lead to 3-1 when, after ; F. Davies had saved his team with an excellent clearance, the country team came again and Connew, goaled. Rovers’ turn came a few minutes later, when Higginson netted, but ; the country team put the issue beyond doubt after a clever passing movement to make the score: Glen : Massey 4, Rovers 2. Mr E.
