BRIDGE EVENING
WAIKATO LYCEUM CLUB A delightful bridge party was held by the Waikato Lyceum Club recently, when a happy evening was spent by the many players. Bowls of daffodils were charmingly arranged about the lounge, giving it a bright spring-like appearance. The hostesses were Mrs N. H. Hooker wearing black velvet, and Mrs A. E. Sandford in mulberry soie. Those present were: —Mesdames J. D. Smith, J. F. Strang, E. P. Cowles, J. R. Henderson, A. St. C. Belcher, A. C. C. Hunter, T. Simpson, F. G. Wooller, L. J. Mark, F. G. Seccombe, W. J. King, W. Tanner, Guy Bindon, S. J. Sheaf, A. W. Green, F. S. Moorhouse, S. D. B. Heather, T. A. Burtenshaw, A. F. Meldrum, G. R. kinson, J. E. Chitty. Misses E. Eggleston, G. Wyatt, N. Drake, E. Murray, G. Eggleston. The prize winner was Mrs J. F. Strang.
