Parliamentarians Invited The advancement committee recommended to the Rotorua Borough Council that an invitation be extended through Mr A. F. Moncur, M.P., to members of Parliament and their wives to visit Rotorua for one week toward the end of the year. The committee suggested that it be empowered to make the necessary arrangements. In moving the adoption of the scheme, Mr E. T. Johnson said that the party would number between 60 and 70, and that the visit would take place at the end of October or early in November. The visitors would be members of all parties and it was in no sense a “political stunt.” The suggestion was adopted.
