ALARMS SOUNDED
PLANES OVER SWITZERLAND (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyrlg-ht) BERNE, Aug. 16 An air raid alarm was sounded at 11.18 last night, when unidentified foreign aeroplanes flew over western Switzerland. A second warning at 1.19 a.m. lasted 20 minutes. There were similar warnings in other Swiss towns. Rome this morning reports raids on Northern Italy last night. There are no details.
