BOMBING BY JAPANESE CANADIAN HOSPITAL HIT FRENCH CO-OPERATION (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received August 17, 3.15 p.m.) CHUNGKING, Aug. 16 The United Church of Canada’s hospital at Tzelutsing was considerably damaged when seven Japanese bombs landed in the compound during a raid. SHANGHAI, Aug. 16 Japanese Gendarmes, co-operating with the French police, raided a Chinese estate in the French concession and seized sixteen lorry-loads of radio equipment, which was reported to be the property of the Chungking Government.
