LATE SIR ABE BAILEY
MEMORIAL SERVICE AT LONDON CHURCH mm***' (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received August 17, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, August 16 A memorial service for the late Sir Abe Bailey was held this afternoon in Saint Martin’s in the Field. Among those present were Lord and Lady Willingden, the Earl of Clarendon and Mr L. C. Amery. The will of the late Sir Abe Bailey provides for the establishment of a trust fund of £25,000 to foster institutions in South Africa not receiving adequate assistance, and also for Imperial interests. At least 80 per cent of the funds must be spent in South Africa.
Coloured persons are not excluded from the scheme.
