SOON TO REPORT
AIR FORCE TRAINEES WAIKATO MEN CALLED UP PILOTS, GUNNERS, MECHANICS Several Waikato men have been called up for training with the Royal New Zealand Air Force as pilots, airgunners, or flight mechanics. They have been notified of the time they are to report, which in most cases, will be next month. The following are the Waikato men selected:— Pilots: I. L. Bary, Frankton Junction; P. S. Duff, Hamilton; A. M. White, Hamilton. Air Gunners: H. Hadfield, Frankton Junction; H. C. McL. Haselden, Te Awamutu; K. M. Newland, Frankton Junction; S. E. Pratt, Te Awamutu; D. T. Ray, Te Awamutu; J. M. Smith, Hamilton. The pilots and air gunners will report to Levin to the Royal New Zealand Air Force ground training school, and the following men have been instructed to report to the Royal New Zealand Air Force station at Harewood for a recruit course before posting to technical training:— Flight mechanics: R. V. Aulin, Hamilton; M. D. Bell, Cambridge; H. W. Broad, Hamilton; D. R. Cameron, Te Awamutu; I. B. Carrie, Frankton Junction; I. Fell, HamlUun; J. D. Hey, Te Awamutu; A. F. Mason, Hamilton; D. R. S. Melville, Te Aroha; T. H. Porter, Te Aroha; M. R. Watson. Frankton Junction.
