Dr. M. C. Moore (Rotorua) and Mr A. M. Winstone (Thames) are at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr H. A. Milne, of Hamilton, will leave to-night on a business trip to Christchurch. Mr H. T. Morton, Mayor of Te Kuiti, returned from Sydney in the Aotearoa yesterday. Mr H. A. Foy, assistant inspector of dairy produce to the New Zealand Government in London, will shortly return to the Dominion. Mr K. Campbell, of the Hamilton East School staff, who will leave shortly for overseas to train for the Fleet air arm, was made the recipient of a presentation at the term break-up yesterday. Mr W. Marshall, of Paeroa, was reelected chairman of directors of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, at a meeting of directors at the conclusion of the annual meeting of the company yesterday. Mr J. T. Young, of Te Awamutu, was elected deputychairman. Mr L. G. Wigmore arrived at Auckland in the Aotearoa yesterday as the representative of the Australian Government to discuss arrangements for the visit to the Commonwealth of the American newspapermen, who arrived shortly afterward by Pan American Airways’ Clipper.
