TROUBLE IN TARANAKI (By Telegraph.—Special lo Times) PALMERSTON N., Thursday Severe losses of dairy cows in the Taranaki Province were reported at a meeting of the Manawatu District Council of Prin.ary Production in Palmerston North today. The cause of the deaths was said to be dietetic, but the number was so great that it was feared it would seriously affect the production of cheese. Veterinary surgeons in the province were very busy and steps were being taken to try to secure the services of others.
