REQUEST BY EGG PRODUCERS (By Telegraph.—Press Association) DANNEVIRKE. Thursday A representative meeting of poul-try-keepers of Dannevirke and district passed unanimously a resolution recommending the Govemmenl to take immediate steps to make available to the poultry industry a cheaper supply of wheat, preferably Australian, for fowl feed purposes Speakers contended this would be ar effective way of stimulating egg production, and that the present retai price of wheat was ridiculous considering the class of wheat on sale
