RETURNED SOLDIERS’ ASSN. In lieu of their annual “Ladies’ Night” the Morrinsville Returned i Soldiers’ Association held a most : successful social and dance in the j Physical Culture Hall, the funds be- ; ing for patriotic purposes. The large ! hail was well filled and the true ! “Digger” spirit prevailed, ensuring j a happy time for all. The provincial | patriotic fund will benefit by a very : considerable amount. A splendid programme was pre- j sented, songs being contributed by ‘ Mr W. G. Dunbar, Mrs Prujean, Mr | Leon Gribble and Mr A. G. M. Case, j Music for dancing was supplied by ' the “Four Aces” orchestra from ■ Mangateparu. Masters of ceremon- j ies for the evening were Mr L. Hay- ' ward and Mr E. C. N.
